He has served as a Cybersecurity Advisor for the Government of Canada, participated in the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and recently joined the US Chamber of Commerce Task Force for Cybersecurity. His views on the threat landscape, on emerging technologies and on the need for a proactive security framework are regularly profiled across print, digital and television mediums. He shares his expertise with other entrepreneurs each week as a leading Shark on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning hit Shark Tank.

George Frempong is Senior Vice President of Sales and Co-Founder of Herjavec Group, bringing nearly twenty years of sales experience in the Canadian networking security industry to the company. George started his IT career with BRAK Systems in 1997 as a Security Solutions Sales Representative. When BRAK was sold to AT&T Canada in 2000, George worked with AT&T’s Internet and eBusiness division and later moved to Deloitte & Touche. In 2003, George co-founded Herjavec Group, where he has sustained his executive sales track-record. He has brought high-level security solutions to many notable corporations across a variety of industries.
Sean C. Higgins
Co-Founder & VP of Professional Services
Sean C. Higgins is the VP of Professional Services and co-founder of Herjavec Group. Sean has worked in the Information Technology Field for over 30 years with a specific focus on Internet Security for the last 20 years. In the early days of Internet Security, Sean worked closely with Check Point Firewall-1 in bringing the technology to Canada and then assisting in the development and delivery of Check Point training courses throughout Canada.
Over the years, Sean became a trusted advisor in Internet Security and has been called upon to lead teams to assist companies in remediation of corporate security incidents. Sean was one of the first to be called as an expert witness in a Canadian court regarding a cyber-security incident. He was named the first CTO of the month in September 2012 by IT Focus. Sean is also a speaker and author.
SVP Global Technical Operations
Ira Goldstein is the SVP of Global Technical Operations for Herjavec Group, accountable for all managed security services operations and corporate development globally. He provides leadership to teams supporting Managed Security Services, Device Management, Threat Analysis and Reporting. He has led complex information security programs and projects in a variety of sectors, with companies across Canada, the US and UK. Prior to this position, Ira served as SVP Business Development and was previously Director of the Project Management Office. Ira has a passion for building and growing technology services companies. In addition to his operations role, Ira regularly evaluates prospects for acquisition and is responsible for post-transaction integration. Ira joined Herjavec Group in 2009, is a certified Project Management Professional, and holds a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics in the UK.
Lewie Dunsworth, CISSP
CISO & SVP Professional Services
Lewie Dunsworth is Senior Vice President of Professional Services & CISO at Herjavec Group, bringing more than 17 years of information security experience to the role. Prior to Herjavec Group, Lewie held executive roles as the CISO at H&R Block and the SVP of Advisory Services & Managed Services at Optiv. His business-forward approach helps companies create a balanced strategy and effective security program, to adequately protect their most critical assets. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Network and Communications Management from DeVry University and a Master of Business Administration, Executive from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
John Moy is the SVP Finance at Herjavec Group. He graduated from York University / Schulich School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in accounting. He did his CA internship with Coopers & Lybrand (now called PricewaterhouseCoopers). John has been leading the company’s finance and operation department since 2003 and has assisted in the growth of the company internally and through acquisitions.
SVP Marketing & Customer Success
Erin McLean is the SVP of Marketing and Customer Success for Herjavec Group, responsible for directing the brand, driving go-to market strategy and supporting internal and external communications. She oversees customer engagement through leadership of the Project Management Office and Technical Account Manager organization. Prior to joining Herjavec Group, Erin contributed to the acceleration of some of Canada’s top brands at Virgin Mobile, Bell Mobility and the Canadian Olympic Committee. Erin holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.
SVP Managed Services, Strategy
Atif Ghauri is the SVP Managed Services, Strategy for Herjavec Group and is primarily responsible for Managed Security Services strategy, roadmap and service development. Atif has over 15 years of experience in technology strategy, operations, and business development at IBM, Unisys, and Comcast. Prior to Herjavec Group, he spent four years at Comcast serving as the CISO of the product engineering group. He led all product and operational security work streams to launch the X1 Platform and Xfinity Home Security business unit. Atif patented an industry first user behavior analytics technology for embedded consumer devices and deployed it on over twenty-five million devices.
Atif earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the Schreyer College at Penn State University and holds Master of Technology Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
VP Sales US
Chris Risenhoover, Herjavec Group’s Vice President of Sales in the US, has had an exciting and varied career in cybersecurity. He started as a software developer in the defense sector for Texas Instruments and held various roles in engineering and sales across the organization. He held executive sales positions with Raytheon, Spearhead Securities and CopiaTech (a specialized VAR he founded and sold, focused on mainframe security solutions). Chris joined Herjavec Group through the acquisition of Galaxy Tech in 2014 and now leads the enterprise sales team across the US. He serves on the SMU Cyber Security Advisory board, were he helps shape course content and training offered for executive certificate programs. Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Mathematics.
Director Sales, UK
Andy Woolford is the Director of Sales for Herjavec Group in the UK. He has over 17 years sales experience in the security market space. Andy started his journey in Security in 1998 working for Network Associates (Now Intel Security) where he held several sales and management positions engaging with Global Enterprise Clients and System Integrators. Andy then joined Integralis (Now NTT Communications) to manage their largest System Integrator before joining Sysec LTD (acquired by Herjavec Group) to build a sales team and deliver on the growth strategy. Andy is passionate about security and focusing on delivering customer excellence.
