PRIVACY POLICY

Cyderes is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our organization by engaging us for Services or visiting our website (“Users” and “Visitors”).

 

This Privacy Policy applies to data provided on or through the Cyderes website located at Cyderes.com. It also describes the choices available to you with regard to the use of your personal information and how you can access, update, manage, export and request deletion of your information. The use of information collected shall be limited to the purposes of providing information regarding Cyderes and its offerings (“Services” for the purposes of this policy).

1. What Information We Collect

When a Visitor contacts Cyderes and/or requests information about Cyderes, we may collect the Visitor’s name, email address and other contact information as required, so that we may fulfill the Visitor’s request. Some information provided to us may individually identify a Visitor or User, and that information may be referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Personal Information.”

 

2.  How We Use Your Information

Cyderes uses information, including Personal Information, as supplied by you to provide the Services, examples of which may be fulfilling requests by you to be contacted and marketing in line with your consent.  Cyderes utilizes third-party tools such as software, Software-as-a-Service or cloud applications to help facilitate some of these internal operations. We respect your privacy, and we limit disclosure of your personal information to the extent necessary.

Cyderes only collects the minimum amount of Personal Information we believe is required to interact with Users, limited to contact information provided by you without which we would not be able to communicate with you regarding our services.   

 

 3.  Sharing Your Information

Compelled Disclosures

Where Cyderes is compelled by the government or law enforcement to share your data, in order to respond to investigations, court orders, legal process, or to investigate, prevent or take action, or as otherwise required by law, we may provide such data to government authorities in order to comply and will promptly notify you and provide a copy of the request, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so. 

Third Party Service Providers

Please be aware that third party websites that may be accessed through our site may collect your Personal Information. Cyderes does not share your Personal Information with those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. Please check the applicable Privacy Policy of those sites.

In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we do not sell, give or trade any Personal Information that we obtain from you to any third party for data mining or marketing purposes. To exercise your Right to Access, Right to Know, your Right to Deletion, or your Right to Opt-out, please submit a request to privacyofficer@cyderes.com.

 

4.  Keeping Your Information Secure

It is our intent to keep all your Personal Information private and confidential. We follow generally accepted standards to protect Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, as no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is known to be 100% secure, please note that we cannot guarantee absolute security. By sharing your Personal Information with Cyderes, you understand and acknowledge this.

 

5.  Subscriptions

By providing Cyderes with your e-mail address you may be subscribed to our newsletter(s) or provided with requested information. You may choose to stop receiving communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each of these emails, or you can contact us.

To be in compliance with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation, Commercial Electronic Messages(CEMs) are sent with your consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time, if you do not wish to continue to receive emails from Cyderes.  We will retain your information for as long as you remain on our mailing list.

 

6.  Retention  

We will retain your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it and for a reasonable period thereafter in order to comply with legal requirements, or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

 

7.  Use of Cookies

Cyderes uses a technology called “cookies” to store session information. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to your browser from a website’s computer and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use session ID cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site may be limited. You may change your acceptance and revoke cookies at any time.

As is true of most websites, we automatically gather and store internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to help us understand customer preferences and improve our website experience accordingly. 8.   Cooperation with Data Protection Authorities in the EU and UK

Cyderes commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and will comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to the processing of personal data transferred from the EU and the UK. If you wish to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal data, you can do so at any time by contacting the Privacy Officer at privacyofficer@cyderes.com.

Compliance with EU-US Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF

Cyderes (Inclusive of the Herjavec Group Corp and Fishtech Group, LLC), is certified and complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce, regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data received from the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) to the United States. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF, the EU-U.S. DPF Principles shall govern.

Where information is transferred to a third-party, Cyderes shall remain liable under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework if the third-party processes such personal information in a manner inconsistent with the principles.

Information about Children

The Cyderes website, product and services are not intended for or targeted at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Data about children under the age of 16.
