Ketan Kapadia Talks IAM with Business In Vancouver
March 21, 2018
Recently, Ketan Kapadia, the VP of Identity and Access Management (IAM), spoke to Business In Vancouver to talk about risks that businesses face in cybersecurity. Although IAM has been around since the early 2000s, it has become a board-level conversation topic in the recent years due to the rising level of insider threats that organizations are facing.
Businesses must regulate access controls for their employees since providing employees with unnecessary access can greatly increase the chances of being targeted by a malicious employee or being compromised as a result of human error or social engineering tactics used by cyber criminals.
Ketan touches on how cyber hygiene can help organizations ensure that their network perimeter can be secure and how Identity and Access Management can help secure their networks.
