  A dynamic entrepreneur, Robert Herjavec has built and sold several IT companies. In 2003 Robert founded Herjavec Group, and it quickly became one of North America’s fastest growing technology companies. Today, Herjavec Group is a global leader in information security, operating across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada; specializing in managed security services, advisory services, identity and incident response for enterprise level organizations. Robert’s ability to interpret industry trends and understand enterprise business security demands has helped him achieve the profile of a global cybersecurity expert. He has served as a Cybersecurity Advisor for the Government of Canada, participated in the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and is a member of the US Chamber of Commerce Task Force for Cybersecurity.   George Frempong is Senior Vice President of Sales and Co-Founder of Herjavec Group, bringing nearly twenty years of sales experience in the Canadian networking security industry to the company. George started his IT career with BRAK Systems in 1997 as a Security Solutions Sales Representative. When BRAK was sold to AT&T Canada in 2000, George worked with AT&T’s Internet and eBusiness division and later moved to Deloitte & Touche. In 2003, George co-founded Herjavec Group, where he has sustained his executive sales track-record. He has brought high-level security solutions to many notable corporations across a variety of industries.

  Sean C. Higgins is the CTO, Customer Success for Herjavec Group, responsible for driving partnership through Managed Services onboarding experiences. Sean thrives on site with our customers, supporting architecture reviews and operations assessments to set the partnership up for success as we go forward into our services relationship. Sean has worked in the Information Technology Field for over 30 years with a specific focus on Internet Security for the last 20 years. In the early days of Internet Security, Sean worked closely with Check Point Firewall-1 in bringing the technology to Canada and then assisting in the development and delivery of Check Point training courses throughout Canada. Over the years, Sean became a trusted advisor in Internet Security and has been called upon to lead teams to assist companies in remediation of corporate security incidents. Sean was one of the first to be called as an expert witness in a Canadian court regarding a cyber-security incident. He was named the first CTO of the month in September 2012 by IT Focus. Sean is also a speaker and author.

  Matt Anthony is Chief Information Security Officer at Herjavec Group, responsible for spearheading the company’s information security vision, strategy and execution. Prior to joining Herjavec Group, Matt held numerous leadership positions focused in enterprise security programs, most recently at Alberta Health Services, a $14 billion, 115,000 seat enterprise. Matt has been at the forefront of the information security practice for many years, building and implementing effective programs to govern and manage risk. He has developed and operated Security Operations Centres, led security incident response practices, created policy and governance frameworks, and implemented and operated digital investigation teams. Matt believes strongly in positioning information security as an enabler of business by promoting an architectural and risk-based approach to program development and management.

  Adam Crawford brings significant experience in risk management & compliance, security operations, incident response and cloud adoption to his role as VP Managed Security Services. He holds an MBA from Durham University and retains the CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GCIH, SFCA & GCFE certifications, is a member of ISACA & ISC2 and also holds Canadian security clearance. Prior to joining Herjavec Group Adam was a partner in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services. He also held management roles at Forsythe Technology Canada and NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC).

  Atif is a renowned cybersecurity expert with 20 years of experience in management consulting, technical and sales operations, product management, and business development. He is an innovator in cybersecurity, and holds a patent in security analytics. Atif held multiple executive roles with the Herjavec Group team between 2014-2018, including SVP of Managed Security Services Sales where he was responsible for the strategy and partner development for our award-winning Managed Security Services practice. Over the last 3 years, Atif founded and expanded the cybersecurity practice at Mazars USA, LLP as a Principal, Cybersecurity Practice Leader, driving all elements of the business from sales to service delivery. Atif previously held leadership roles at Comcast, Unisys and IBM.

  Jennifer is the Chief Financial Officer at Herjavec Group, responsible for enhancing the organization’s operational performance, financial reporting, and value in alignment with the executive team and financial community. Reporting directly to HG’s CEO Robert Herjavec, she has extensive experience in all aspects of financial management, accounting and corporate reporting having held multiple executive roles including Director of Finance & Corporate Controller at Teranet Inc and Chief Accounting Officer and Country Controller at GM Canada Inc. Jennifer holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant) designation and a Bachelor of Business Administration with high honors from Wilfrid Laurier University.

  Jonathan Rothenberg has spent more than 20 years advising and working on strategic transactions for high-growth, technology-enabled companies. Through acquisitions and financings spanning North America, Europe, Asia and South America, he has significant cross-border experience and a global perspective on driving growth and value creation. Most recently, he was Senior Vice president, Corporate Development and M&A at GlobalLogic, a private-equity owned digital software engineering firm. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Corporate Development at EXL Service, a NASDAQ-listed analytics and BPO company. Previously, he was an investment banker covering the software and services sectors.

Prior to this role, Doug co-founded the award-winning Identity & Access Management firm, Securience, based in the United Kingdom, acquired by HG in 2020. Aside from his key expertise on IT Management Consulting, Doug has a wealth of experience in delivering IT Security projects across EMEA, from complex compliance based projects in the Financial Services industry to fast-paced deployments in the retail industry.

  Amiel De Guzman has over 25 years of Cybersecurity experience in a variety of industries including banking, retail, financial services, healthcare, and insurance, and has led teams in the design and implementation of infosec programs for Fortune 500 companies. His extensive experience with information security-related regulations and standards include SOX, GLBA, HIPAA, HITECH, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, FFIEC, SOC Audits, ISO27001 and 27002. Amiel's certifications include CISSP, CISM, CRISC, among others, and he is an active participating member of several industry groups including ISC² and ISACA.

  Eric Dowsland is the VP of Customer Success for Herjavec Group, and is responsible for ensuring successful Managed Services partnerships with HG MSS clients. Eric drives value and efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of the service. He brings 10+ years of experience building out MSSP programs for large Fortune 500 organizations. His expertise lies in delivering a full suite of cybersecurity operations, such as threat intel collection, content creation, insider threat activities, threat hunting and incident response. He has been a trusted advisor for a wide array of industry sectors and has built SOC operations globally. Eric has a Bachelors in Applied Information Technology from St. John Fisher College as well as an Executive Certificate in Risk Management from Harvard University and retains the CISSP, CISM, and C|CISO certifications. Previously, Eric has held senior leadership positions at Paychex, managing their Cyber Fusion Center, and has been the Global Director of Managed Security Services for a respected provider in the United States. He believes innovation is key and is focused on efficiency through automation and delivering quality actionable reporting for his clients.

He has held various positions ranging from Developer, Support Manager (Sophos PLC) to IT Director (Oxford Solutions). Marcus also contributed to the design of security applications for the UK’s defence infrastructure and Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and has been instrumental in the architecture and deployment of security solutions to many major companies across a multitude of industry sectors.

  Craig is the Senior Vice President of Consulting and Professional Services for the Herjavec Group and brings more than 30 years of experience in the IT services industry, and over 14 years of specialization in information security, serving in both professional and managed services capacities. Craig brings significant experience in helping clients increase their security posture and lower their risk across multiple security practices and disciplines, including: Security Strategy; Risk Management & Compliance; Security Operations; and Incident response. Most recently, Craig was responsible for NTT Security’s Global Consulting business, managing security consulting service design and delivery across 19 countries.
